On 16 Jan 2009, all CREG members have work together to clean and rearrange the lab due to the 5S program. The program was lead by Mr Fadhzir. Thanks to all CREG members who get their hands dirty on the program. Hopefully, the program will make us more close and increase the spirit between us. GAMBATE KUDASAI everyone.
There was a video shooting in CREG lab conducted by TV3 for Iskandar Malaysia. Pictures will be uploaded soon. The crew production involved were Aidid Marcelo (Remaja and Majalah 3, TV3) and team. Me (Mailin), Linda and Prof NASA were acting in the shooting. What a marvelous experience!! Special thanks to Mr. Zaki for coming and supporting the program.

I would like to announce that cregutm.com now has its own forum to further entice discussion related to reaction, catalysis engineering as well as renewable energy. The forum will be very usedful for researchers, students and industries. It is also hoped that possible networking, join-venture research can be realised from this platform. The project is ready to be closed within this couple of month. 7 papers and 1 book chapter were produced via this project. CREG members are encouraged to propose new proposal for grant application.
One of our paper entitled Pretreatment of Empty Palm Fruit Bunch for Production of Chemicals via Catalytic Pyrolysis has recently been accepted to be published in Bioresource Technology, Elsevier. We are currently in the process of developing new paper for high impact-factor international journal.
CREG will be participating in Malaysia Technology Exhibition (MTE) this 19-21st February 2009. All members are preparing for the national level exhibition. More updates later.
CREG has appointed a new research assistant and he is Mohamad Nizam Bin Abd Muttalib. He’ll be assisting CREG research and management.
