The project is ready to be closed within this couple of month. 7 papers and 1 book chapter were produced via this project. CREG members are encouraged to propose new proposal for grant application.

One of our paper entitled Pretreatment of Empty Palm Fruit Bunch for Production of Chemicals via Catalytic Pyrolysis has recently been accepted to be published in Bioresource Technology, Elsevier. We are currently in the process of developing new paper for high impact-factor international journal.

CREG will be participating in Malaysia Technology Exhibition (MTE) this 19-21st February 2009.  All members are preparing for the national level exhibition. More updates later.

CREG has appointed a new research assistant and he is Mohamad Nizam Bin Abd Muttalib. He’ll be assisting CREG research and management.
